In January-May 2026, the number of trailers in the Georgian
corridor (compared to the same period in 2025) increased by 574 units annually,
and the amount paid to the budget increased by 201,215 GEL.

Construction of the 7.2-kilometer Kajaran tunnel has begun
in Armenia, which will become a key section of the "North-South"
transport corridor. The project will connect the borders of Iran and Georgia
and reduce travel time by 40 minutes.

Kazakhstan leases territory in the Strait of Hormuz to gain
direct access to maritime trade routes. The terminal will become the last point
of the railway route from Aktau through Turkmenistan and will allow for
increased exports to India, the Persian Gulf countries and Southeast Asia.
Through the new logistics center, Kazakhstan will be able to supply metals,
agricultural products and energy goods. The project is planned to be
implemented with private investments without using budget funds. Alternative
routes through Afghanistan to Pakistani ports and to the Iranian port of

According to the airport management company, TAV Georgia,
new spaces of approximately 1,000 m² are being added to the existing 8,000 m²
of the Batumi International Airport terminal. These spaces will include both
operational and administrative zones. These spaces will increase the airport’s

from 14 to 18, which will speed up the check-in process.

“Meta Hub” in Tbilisi. The entire territory, adjacent to the Lilo customs zone,

the Georgia Accessibility and Transport Improvement Project. Investments in

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov confirmed that connecting
the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway corridor with Georgia’s port
infrastructure is one of the priority areas on the bilateral agenda. Zhaparov

projects in Kyrgyzstan’s logistics, agriculture, construction, digital economy
and tourism sectors, where the country creates favorable conditions for
investors amid sustainable economic growth.

In April 2025, the energy ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia
and Turkey signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of green energy,
which launched the project to create the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey-Bulgaria
energy corridor. The preparation of the feasibility study for the project will
begin in 2026. The new corridor will ensure the supply of energy from the
Caspian region to South-Eastern Europe, in particular Bulgaria, as well as
Romania and Hungary.

Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir
Uraloğlu announced that as a result of the Samsun-Trabzon-Sarpi high-speed
railway project, the entire Black Sea coastal cities will be united in a single
high-speed railway network. The travel time between Trabzon and Samsun will be
reduced to 2 hours.
The project will create a strategic railway corridor
connecting Turkey with the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Association-Georgia, the “Armenia-Georgia Logistics and Commerce Forum 2026”
was successfully held in Tbilisi, bringing together representatives of the

important platform for strengthening regional cooperation, establishing new
business partnerships, and discussing new opportunities for the development of
trade, logistics, and supply chains between the two countries.

a unified long-term tariff model for the Middle Corridor. Several important
infrastructure projects are being implemented to enhance the potential of the
Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor, including the expansion of the

the modernization of the Kuryk port.

The U.S. Development Finance Corporation (DFC) has signed a
second $25 million loan agreement with PACE Group. The financing will be used
to complete the construction of the second berth at the new Poti Seaport, which
will significantly increase the capacity to handle bulk cargo. The project will
increase the port's throughput by an additional one million tons per year,
strengthen critical infrastructure, and make trade along the Trans-Caspian
Corridor safer and more efficient.
